In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “nature cure is so simple, easy and cheap…this system of treatment should be used.”
Nature never did betray the heart that loved her.
By definition, naturopathy is a system of medicine which aims to diagnose and treat any human pain, inflammation or ailment through the use of natural elements. These elements are mainly space, air, fire, water and earth.
Nature cure believes that disease is one, its cause is one and so its treatment is one.
With the above mentioned slogan in mind, naturopathy believes that diseases, regardless of form, are because of the same reason or cause and that the accumulation of the toxins and other waste elements in the body pile up steadily.
How waste materials pile up:
There are two ways as to how the toxins or waste materials are accumulated. First off, by unnatural means. This involves wrong methods of life which can also cause the manufacture of excess toxins. When these waste materials are not eradicated at the ideal corresponding rate and time, diseases will then be created.
Secondly, by natural means. Because our body is made up of cells, some of them die and should be replaced by new, energized cells (the old, dead cells become material foreign to the human body) Processes of the living cells then generate toxins due to the metabolism related reactions.
BE CAREFUL OF MYTHS! Don’t allow yourself to be a prey of a lot of myths in relation to disease causing germs. For one, germs do not cause disease but they could breed in the accumulated waste materials in the body. In healthy bodies wherein the secretions and excretions are regular and are at normal rates, the germs do not have breeding grounds, hence, are easily eradicated by the antibodies.
Always remember that exercise should also come into play. Nutrition and proper drainage are induced by good and regular exercise. Don’t think of mere physical exercise, though. We’re also talking of physical, mental and psychological exercises here. These can all greatly help in removing the waste materials or toxins. Exercises provide greater ways for the oxygen to enter the human body and thus causing good blood circulation.
