If you have always wanted to
learn the four (4) major tools in yoga, then this course is for you.
Here, you will receive the Beginner’s Integral Yoga handbook as well as two (2) audio CDs.
Not only will you learn the golden principle of moderation and consistency, you may also
undergo this 8-week program right in the comfort of your own home.
Each week involved in this program will kick off with a yoga nidra (found in an audio CD included in the kit),
then by yoga asanas (please check our “Understand Yoga” section in the homepage of HealthNYoga.com),
then by pranayamas and will end with a mantra meditation style (found in another CD).
Suggested Methods (15-40 minutes per day)
The daily course will be progressive and will treat you as personal as possible. Consider these:
The yoga nidra will begin within the first 15 minutes in the first week of your program. This will then advance gradually on the next few weeks.
The yoga asanas or postures for beginners will also gradually develop. From the very simple anti-arthritis series of yoga methods to the standing and balancing postures, the yoga asanas routine will be an evolving program.
The pranayama technique, meanwhile, will begin with a few brief rounds. Eventually, these will build up over time and with longer breath controls.
Lastly, the meditation part will be divided into four (4) stages. These will be evenly distributed for a period of two (2) weeks each.
The course handbook will touch on the why’s and how’s
of the yoga practice. Hence, your program will basically be a holistic one and
will approach meaning and techniques at the same time.
If you want to engage in yoga but want to understand and appreciate its
benefits and “beauty” all at the same time, this course is the perfect one for you.
There are also performance sheets that you can use to monitor your progress.
